TJ Antich PT

MUGTJA3T.J. Antich, M.S.,P.T. owned his own private practice headquartered in Newtown Square, Delaware County, Pennsylvania from 1987 – 2008 where he worked primarily with patients with shoulder, knee, and ankle problems.  He has a strong interest in clinical research and has been a Guest Lecturer in the Physical Therapy Programs at Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science, Temple University, Thomas Jefferson University and the University of Delaware.  He is a member of the Private Practice and the Sports Physical Therapy Sections of the APTA and was the first Pennsylvania physical therapist member of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine.

T.J. completed his Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy in 1981 at the University of Southern California.  He was a staff physical therapist at the Kerlan – Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic and a research physical therapist at the Centinela Hospital Biomechanics Laboratory, both in Inglewood, California prior to moving to Pennsylvania in 1985.  He has published in the JOURNAL OF ORTHOPAEDIC AND SPORTS PHYSICAL THERAPY, AMERICAN JOURNAL OF SPORTS MEDICINE, PHYSICAL THERAPY, CLINICS IN SPORTS MEDICINE, CLINICAL ORTHOPAEDICS AND RELATED RESEARCH, and has had his most recent works appear as in the “Doing Business” section of ADVANCE FOR DIRECTORS OF REHABILITATION.

 He has been a member of NSB&PA since 1987, his first year in operation.  T. J. served on the Board of Directors during 1999 and was elected to the office of Vice President in January 2000.  He and his wife Denise have four children ages two to eight.
